Tim had an endoscopy yesterday to alleviate the blockage in his bile duct stent. It was a success. The surgeon was able to remove all the "sludge" that was blocking the stent. Almost immediately after Yesterday, Tim had his endoscopic procedure to unblock his clogged bile duct stent. It was a success. The surgeon was able to remove all the "sludge" that was blocking the stent. Almost immediately after recovering from the procedure, Tim started to feel better.

Next week, Tim meets with his Kaiser Oncologist as well as his consultant at UCSF to discuss what happens next. It's likely that Tim will start on the chemo that was postponed due to the problem with his stent.

Paul continues to improve, although slowly. That old saying about, “two steps forward, one step backward.” But, the overall trend is good. Onward ho! (…with no disrespect to those in the profession).
